One of the lovey things about a humanist wedding is the number of unique ways in which your ceremony can be personalised to suit who you are as a couple.
Yesterday I conducted a beautiful ceremony during which the couple read out their own vows to each other which they had written into little passport sized booklets, like the ones pictured above. What a lovely keepsake for the couple, and something which they can go back to in years to come and read through again and again, reminding them of everything that they held important about their union at the time of their wedding.
A quick search on the online marketplace Etsy for "wedding vow booklets" brought up a number of very reasonable priced options.
I know that many of my couples in the past have used Etsy to purchase their hand-fasts, and again, the amount of choice is incredible.
You can also find unity candle sets and sand ceremony sets by simply putting in they key words into the Etsy search facility. I recently bought a gorgeous quaich that I had engraved, and it only cost me £35!
None of these items are particularly expensive, and any of them can add a special personal touch to your big day!
Maybe something to think about?
